Wehmütig kriechend schmeckt der kalte Moder,
im Einklang mit dem emsig schwarzen Fliegenmeer,
nebelschwer.
Träge weht herüber, mondbeseelter Wiesenduft
und vom Ahornschatten kühl bewacht,
halten gelbe Augen Totenwache diese Nacht.
Zäh überzieht bittersüßes warmes Harz,
am Stamm hinab schon schwarzgeword`nes Blut
und lischt somit die letzte Lebensglut.
Irgendwo zwischen Leben und Tod,
entfaltet welker Zauber nun seine Pracht,
zerren Klauen an geplatzten Därmen,
kaum dass der Sensenklang verklungen.
Und in den Baumkronen sitzen schwarzgefiederte Boten,
verkünden klaglos das ewige Fest:
Frass
Schnell die schlingende Gier gestillt,
was einst ward hoffnungsvoller Lendensaft.
Spöttisch blicken die scheinbar ewigen Sterne
auf gebrochene Augen - gebrochene Knochen.
