Lunatic Paradise formed in Vilnius, Lithuania in 1999 with Aurimas Rimeikis on vocals, Justinas Žilinskas on bass, Remigijus Žilinskas on drums, and Gediminas Jakutis on guitar. Their debut album 'Muza' came out in 2002 and included 'Keliai,' a song that became central to their sound.
They followed with 'Without' in 2006 and 'Albedo 0.39' in 2010, the latter drawing from astronomical themes. In 2008, the band dealt with a copyright infringement case. They released 'Melancholia' in 2017, with other notable tracks including 'Mirtis Ne Viskas,' 'Šauksmas,' and 'Tamsėja.'
