Lupe Duailibe

Lupe Duailibe was a Brazilian musical project centered around vocalist Lulu Santos and bassist Fernando Magalhães. They started playing in São Paulo's underground scene in the early 1980s, working with limited resources and little initial attention.

In 1983, they released "Sem Sentido," which became their breakthrough track. The song's straightforward melody and direct lyrics connected with listeners across Brazil, though some critics found it too simple while others appreciated its emotional honesty.

Lupe Duailibe released several albums during the 1980s, including their self-titled debut in 1983, followed by "Amanhã Azul" in 1985 and "Tão Simples" in 1988. The project remained primarily focused on Santos and Magalhães throughout its active years.
