Lynch/Pilson formed in 1990 when guitarist George Lynch, who had been in Dokken, teamed up with bassist John Pilson from Foreigner. Their debut album 'Ozzmosis' came out in 1991, featuring the track 'A Breath And A Scream' among others. The band's sound leaned into heavy rock with Lynch's guitar work as a central element.
After Lynch left in 1994, Pilson kept the band going with albums like 'Lynch/Pilson II' and 'Wicked Underground', but the lineup shifted. They reunited in 2003 for 'Syzygy' and put out more material including 'The Brotherhood' in 2005. Songs like 'Awaken' and 'Even Higher' show up in their catalog from this period.
