Through the Night

All through the night in the forest, I was alone.

There was just the light of the moon, to light my path.

Lost in my thoughts as the path, amongst the trees.

I heard the sound of the piano, coming far.

And I was called by that song, that so sad melody.

And I was following the sound, that sound across the trees.

Then suddenly I saw a light, involved in mystery.

There was a shadow in the dark, and I could not believe,

It was you who I saw, that was playing .

And all the love there was in me,

I knew there was in you.

And everything we both could do,

It was not say a word.

And you were thinking about me, of all our history.

And you were feeling all alone, alone amongst the trees.

Then suddenly you saw a light, involved in mystery.

There was a piano in the dark, and you could not believe.

And then you, you were there, just to play .....

And all the love there was in you,

You knew there was in me.

And everything we both could do,

It was just say a word.

And so slowly you touched my lips, we came back in time.

I felt the song touching my heart, my heart again.

And with sadness you left me, without a word.

It was the last time I saw you, our last goodbye ...
