MØ CORP

MØ CORP formed in 2009 around vocalist Maria Ørsted and producer Noam Halby. Their early work came out of Copenhagen, though the specifics of that scene aren't well documented. The track 'Day Ø' from 2012 became their breakout single, gaining some international notice for its particular blend of dream-pop and electronic textures.

Their debut album was called 'No Mythologies to Follow'. Later records included 'Forever Neverland' and 'Motordrome', which continued to work with a mix of electronic production and Ørsted's vocals. Other songs like 'Confession' and 'Trippin' (Light A J)' show the range of their output, from more introspective material to collaborative tracks.

There have been occasional questions from critics about their influences and originality, but the band has generally kept making music on their own terms. Their lyrics often deal with personal reflection and relationships, delivered through Ørsted's distinctive vocal style.
