Brian Jennings put the group together. The original performers included Jamelia Kyer on vocals, Tyrone Dickerson on guitar, Robert Stewart on drums, and Will Robertson on bass. They released an album called "Funky Monkey" in 2004.

Some members left over time. Jamelia Kyer was gone by 2008, and Tyrone Dickerson left around 2010. New people joined, like Christine Dion and Brian Jones, and the group kept making albums into the 2010s with titles like "Jump Around" and "Time to Boogie."
