Maburaho formed in 1993 with Masaya Matsuura on vocals, Yoshiyuki Koga on bass, and Koichi Terasawa on guitar. Their self-titled debut album came out that same year. The band's song "Koi No Mahou" became one of their most recognizable tracks.

In 2003, they released the album "Kaze no Kiwami," which showed a shift toward more experimental territory. By 2009, they had put out a greatest hits compilation and played a 15th anniversary tour. Their other songs include "We'd get there someday."
