Madame Zoraide

Madame Zoraide was a musical group from Montevideo, Uruguay, led by vocalist Zoraide. The band included Pablo Silvera on guitar, Martín Ibarburu on bass, and Gabriel Casacuberta on drums. They released albums like "Electrónica," "Plenilunio," and "Desde el Jardín."

Their song "Te Lo Debo a Ti" became particularly well-known, with its melody and lyrics connecting with listeners. Other tracks like "A Culebra," "Acabou Chorare," and "Até Não Mais" appear in their catalog.

Zoraide faced challenges as a woman in what was described as a male-dominated field, but she continued developing her music. The group's work sometimes addressed what were called sensitive themes, which drew both appreciation and criticism.
