Madder Mortem

Madder Mortem formed around vocalist Agnete Kjølsrud and guitarist Eirik Raude, with Morten Skjævesland on bass and Kenneth Låstad on drums. Their debut album 'Mercury' came out in 2001, followed by 'All Flesh Is Grass' in 2003 and 'Desiderium' in 2007. They've kept recording since, with 'Octavian' arriving in 2010 and 'Red in Tooth and Claw' in 2016.

Their sound mixes heavy guitar work with Agnete Kjølsrud's vocals, which can shift from melodic to aggressive. Songs like 'Quietude' and 'Deadlands' show that range, moving between atmospheric passages and denser, driving sections.
