Magazine 60 was a Spanish rock collective active in the early 1980s, fronted by vocalist Nacho Canut. Their debut album 'Magazine 60' from 1981 featured angular guitars and dissonant harmonies that fell somewhere between post-punk and new wave.
They're best remembered for the single 'Don Quichotte (No estan aqui),' which became something of an anthem in post-Franco Spain. The band's lineup included Javier Teixidor on guitar, Pablo Martínez on drums, and Juan Carlos Argüello on bass.
Later in the decade, their sound shifted toward electronic and dance-oriented material on albums like 'Memoria' (1984) and 'Subterranean' (1985). They collaborated with Carlos Berlanga of Alaska y Dinarama at one point.
