Magneto

Magneto formed in Mexico City in 1983 with seven members: Alan, Alex, Charlie, Elías, Mauri, Tono, and Toño. They released their debut album in 1986, but it was their third album that brought them wider attention. The song 'Vuela Vuela' from 1991 became their signature hit, with its layered harmonies and romantic theme connecting with listeners across Latin America.

Their discography includes albums like 'Vuelve' in 1992, '40 grados' in 1993, and 'Sueño contigo' in 1995. Other songs like 'Malherido' and 'Cambiando El Destino' also became popular with fans. The group's lineup changed over time, with Toño leaving in 1997 and Charlie and Tono departing in 2003, though they continued performing with a smaller formation.

In 2003, Magneto faced a legal dispute over the use of their band name, which was eventually resolved. Elías was diagnosed with a rare disease in 2017 but remained involved with the group. Their music, particularly songs like 'Vuela Vuela' and 'Sueño Por Sueño,' maintains a presence in Latin pop playlists and memories.
