Magojow Schneider

Magojow Schneider formed in São Paulo in 1974, with Milena Schneider on vocals, Felipe Magojow on guitar, and Rodrigo Magojow on keyboards. Their sound didn't fit neatly into categories, which made it hard to get attention from major labels at first. They kept playing smaller shows anyway, building up a following gradually.

In 1982 they released an album called "Plano Perfeito," which included the title track and another song called "Sentimentos Póstumo." The record found an audience, and "Plano Perfeito" became their best-known work. They put out two more albums in the mid-80s before stopping.

Their lyrics sometimes drew criticism for being too abstract or dark, dealing with love and loss in ways that didn't offer easy answers. But the music held up, and people kept finding it years later. It's the kind of thing that gets passed around quietly, without much fanfare.
