Maithe Louise

Maithe Louise is a singer-songwriter from Rio de Janeiro. Her 2018 single "Dózinha de Você" brought her wider attention, and she has since put out two albums, 2019's "Onde Meu Coração Decide" and 2021's "Longe de Mim." Her songs, like "Desafiando A Lógica" and "Espelho Meu," often lean into MPB and indie folk, with lyrics that feel personal and direct.

She works with a band that includes guitarist Thiago Araujo, bassist Felipe Nunes, and drummer Felipe Andreoli. She has also recorded with other Brazilian artists such as Ney Matogrosso and Lulu Santos.

In 2020, she canceled some shows, citing personal reasons, and has spoken about mental health and self-care since. She continues to write and perform, keeping her focus on the music itself rather than any larger narrative around it.
