Majah

Majah is a quartet from Los Angeles that formed around 2010, with members Ania, Jessica, Julia, and Bar. They started out as a vocal group trying to find their footing in a crowded scene.

Their song "Happiness" came out in 2012 and got some attention for its upbeat feel. It's the track people usually mention first when talking about them. They followed it with a self-titled EP the next year.

Each member brings something different to the vocals. Ania handles the higher leads, Jessica works the harmonies, Julia adds a lower register, and Bar brings a rhythmic energy that leans toward hip-hop. They've done some work with other artists, but mostly they're known as a four-piece vocal group with a pop-soul sound.
