Majestade e Sabiá formed in 2010 in Brasília, with Luiz Henrique Martins on vocals and guitar, Thiago Souza on bass, and Daniel dos Santos on drums. They started playing small venues around the city, building a local following through steady gigs.
Their 2013 single "Cama Solitária" became a hit in Brazil, with its straightforward lyrics about loneliness connecting with listeners. The band followed it with albums like 2016's 'Horizonte' and 2018's 'Luz do Amor', and songs such as "Coisas de Novela" and "O Que Acontece Num Sábado a Noite" became part of their setlists.
They kept recording into the 2020s, with work noted for 2022. Their music stayed grounded in the kind of direct, melodic Brazilian pop that first got them attention.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
