Majid Jordan

Majid Jordan is a Toronto duo made up of singer Majid Al Maskati and producer Jordan Ullman. They started working together around 2011, and their first EP, 'A Place Like This,' came out in 2014. Their sound leans into atmospheric R&B with a smooth, electronic touch, heard on tracks like 'Her' and 'Waves Of Blue.'

In 2016, they collaborated with Drake on 'Stars Align,' which helped bring them wider attention. That same year, they released their self-titled debut album. They followed it with 'The Space Between' in 2017 and 'Wildest Dreams' in 2021, which included songs like 'Summer Rain' and 'Learn From Each Other.'

Their music often sits in that space between late-night R&B and polished electronic production, avoiding big dramatic swings for a more consistent, mood-focused approach. They haven't chased trends so much as refined their own lane, which has kept them a steady presence without needing to dominate charts.
