Makeshift3

Makeshift3 is a trio from Los Angeles with Sebastian Soto on vocals and guitar, Kristen Jensen on bass, and Tyler Henderson on drums. They started playing in local bars and open mics around the city. In 2016, they put out their first EP called "Lost and Found." A few years later, their song "Church Boy" got some attention for its lyrics, which touched on religious themes in a way that stirred up conversation.

They followed that with more music, including an album titled "Tides" and another called "Nocturne" in 2022. Other tracks like "4am" and "90210" show up in their catalog, but it's "Church Boy" that people tend to mention first. The band kept writing and recording through those years, sticking with their lineup of Soto, Jensen, and Henderson.

Their sound has that indie rock setup, guitar, bass, drums, with Soto's vocals out front. They haven't really shifted from that core, even as they moved from EPs to full albums. The music feels grounded in that LA scene, where they cut their teeth playing small shows before anything got wider notice.
