Mal Primata came out of the Brazilian hardcore scene in the early 2000s, led by Rodrigo Petrella. Their sound mixed raw aggression with melodic parts and introspective lyrics. They released their self-titled debut in 2005, which set up their basic style.
In 2009, they put out 'Entre Nós,' which got them more mainstream attention. That album's title track became a notable song for them. They followed it with 'O Que Te Torna Um Monstro' in 2012 and 'Infinito' in 2016. The band broke up in 2017.
