Maligno is a Brazilian metal band that formed in the underground scene. Their debut album 'Astral Bacchanalia' came out in 2007, mixing black metal with traditional Brazilian sounds and ritual chanting. They followed it with records like 'Opus Nocturnus' in 2010 and 'Tempus Tenebro' in 2014.
The band's lineup has stayed mostly the same, with Inquisidor Infernal on vocals, Vil Supressor on bass, Tormento Infernal on guitar, and Vidente on drums. Their songs include 'Astral Bacchanalia', 'Bloodworld', and 'Golden Demons'.
Some of their lyrics and themes drew criticism early on, but they kept working. They built a following with their particular take on dark, atmospheric metal.
