Archive material and source history
Mandy Candy formed in San Francisco in the mid-1990s with Anya Celeste on vocals, Ethan Solstice on guitar, Luna Eclipse on bass, and Orion Nebula on drums. Their debut album 'Celestial Symphony' came out in 1997 and included the song 'Mana,' which became their most recognizable track.
They released several more albums over the next two decades, including 'Elysian Fields' in 2000, 'Aetheric Tapestry' in 2005, 'Harmonic Convergence' in 2009, and 'The Alchemy of Sound' in 2015. In 2002, they had a legal dispute with a record label over artistic control.
Their music shifted across those albums, moving through different styles while keeping the same lineup. They stayed together as a band through those changes and the legal issue, continuing to record and release music.
