Manno Marques

Manno Marques is a Portuguese singer and songwriter who came up in the 1970s. He was born in 1943 in Moimenta da Beira, Portugal. His debut album, simply called 'Manno,' came out in 1974 and included the song 'A Mulher Que Eu Amo,' which became his most well-known track.

Despite that, or perhaps partly because of it, the song stuck around. It's the one people still mention when they talk about him.

He kept recording through the 1980s and 1990s, putting out albums like 'Morgado' in 1981 and 'Rosa Branca' in 1990. He has worked with other Portuguese artists like Dulce Pontes and Carlos do Carmo. His band has included musicians such as Paulo Costa on bass and José Manuel Neto on keyboards.
