Manuel Paulo is a Portuguese vocalist who first gained attention as part of the band Madredeus before going solo. His debut album 'Primavera' included the song 'Ser do Vento,' which became something of an anthem in Portugal during the late 1990s. The track's moody, atmospheric quality seemed to connect with listeners in a way that went beyond typical pop success.
