Marble Sounds formed in Gothenburg in 2006 as a quartet with Johan Angergård on vocals and guitar, Anders Lindström on guitar, and brothers Gustaf and Jesper Nyström on drums and bass. Their first album, "In My Head," came out in 2008 and set up their sound with delicate guitar work and atmospheric touches.
They put out four albums between 2008 and 2014, including "A Thousand Years" and "The Great Beast." The single "A New Breeze" from 2009 got some attention for its bittersweet feel. Other songs like "Leave a Light On" and "The Time To Sleep" show their quieter, introspective side.
Angergård left the band in 2012, and the remaining three members released one more album, "Dear John," in 2014 before things went quiet.
