Marcelo Moura was the frontman of the Brazilian rock band Kid Abelha, which formed in 1981 with bassist Paula Toller and guitarist Guto Goffi. Their debut album 'Seu Espião' came out in 1984, and the following year's 'Educação Sentimental' included the track 'Asas Para Voar,' which became widely known in Brazil.
Moura's vocals on songs like 'Asas Para Voar' and 'Chuva de saudades' had a particular quality that connected with listeners. The band put out several albums through the late 1980s, including 'Tomate' in 1987.
He was born in Rio de Janeiro in 1968. Kid Abelha's music, with Moura's voice at the center, found an audience during that period in Brazilian rock.
