Marcelo Perdido formed in Buenos Aires in the late 1990s, with Marcelo on vocals and guitar, Diego on bass, Martin on drums, and Javier on keyboards. They released their debut album 'Tinta y Papel' in 2002, which included the song 'Creme Brulée' that became popular in South America and Europe.

After drummer Martin left in 2006, Lucas joined the band. In 2009, Marcelo was arrested for drug possession at a concert, which led to a brief hiatus. Their other songs include 'Lenhador', 'Antes Do Fim', 'Aritmética', and 'Balela'.
