Marcos e Anderson are a Brazilian sertanejo duo from Alvorada do Norte, Goiás. They met at a local music festival in 1984 and started playing bars and fairs together. Their first album, 'Marcas do Tempo,' came out in 1999 and included the song 'Ha 38 Anos,' which became popular across Brazil.
They've recorded other songs like 'Foi Ele,' 'Amigo Fiel,' and 'Barro Pisado.' In 2003, Anderson was diagnosed with a neurological disorder, and they took a break from performing. They returned to the stage in 2006 and kept making music.
Their later albums include '30 Anos' from 2014 and 'Raízes Sertanejas' from 2017. Marcos sings and plays guitar, while Anderson handles vocals and bass.
