Marcos Martins

Marcos Martins is a Brazilian singer-songwriter from São Paulo who started performing as a teenager. His father played guitar, and that early exposure to music stuck with him. In 2009, he put out his first album, 'O Homem do Povo,' which got some positive attention and built him a small audience.

A few years later, in 2015, the song 'Me Curar de Mim' became a national hit. Its lyrics about self-discovery and healing connected with people in a straightforward way. That same year, he released the album 'Tudo No Seu Tempo,' which included other songs like 'Vou Dar a Volta Por Cima' and 'Deixa Eu Te Amar.'

He's put out four studio albums in total, with 'Liberdade' arriving in 2018. His music often deals with personal themes, and he's worked with musicians like drummer Thiago Castanho. The songs tend to be direct and emotional, without much ornamentation.
