Marcos e Matteus met in 2009 in Goiânia, a city in the heart of Brazil's sertanejo country. They signed with Sony Music in 2011 and released their debut album, 'Ao Vivo em Goiânia,' which included the single 'Quero Ser Feliz Também.'
Their 2014 album 'Conectados' featured 'Quem Te Viu, Quem Te Vê,' a ballad that became a major hit in Brazil. Other songs in their catalog include 'Paulo e Silas,' 'Vou Te Honrar,' 'Tua Fidelidade,' and 'O Encontro.'
In 2016, Marcos was injured in a motorcycle accident. The duo has continued performing since then, though their public appearances have been less frequent.
