You sit there on the sidewalk, holding a plastic cup in your hand

People who walk by talk, turn away their face

from your begging hand

But you don't mind, you've been getting used to that

You try to find yourself a job, but everywhere you go

they need a resumée

You say you can deliver hard work but everywhere the door is slammed in your face
