Mark Medlock is a German singer who won the 2007 season of the talent show 'Deutschland sucht den Superstar.' His victory came with the release of 'Now or Never,' a song that topped the German charts. That single, co-written by Dieter Bohlen, became his signature hit.
After winning DSDS, Medlock released several albums that found commercial success in Germany. Songs like 'Moment Of Your Life' and 'You can get it' followed, maintaining his presence on the pop-soul side of German radio. He's from Karlsruhe, where he started singing early and was in a rock band as a teenager.
In 2015, Medlock was diagnosed with a serious heart condition that required open-heart surgery. The health crisis forced him to pause his music career for a time. He later returned to recording and performing, with tracks like 'Wonderful Girl' and 'Endless Love' appearing in his catalog.
