Marmozets formed in Bingley, West Yorkshire around 2011. The band is fronted by vocalist Becca Macintyre, and their music pulls from alternative rock, grunge, and post-hardcore. Their first album, 'The Weird and Wonderful Marmozets,' came out in 2014.
In 2018 they released a second album called 'Knowing What You Know Now,' which had a more introspective feel. Songs like 'Hit The Wave' and 'Captivate You' show their range from aggressive to melodic. They played 'Captivate You' on 'Later... with Jools Holland' that same year.
There was a lineup change in 2016 when bassist Will Bottomley left and Jack Bottomley joined.
