Massiv In Mensch

Massiv In Mensch formed in Leipzig around 2002, with vocalist Sarah Noxx and multi-instrumentalist Michael Sele at the core. They built their sound from the city's underground scene, working with industrial beats and metal textures that didn't fit neatly into mainstream channels. Their debut album 'Schattenreich' came out of that period, pulling together those dark, electronic elements.

In 2006 they released 'A Gothic On XTC,' which gave the band a clearer identity within the Gothic community. The title track and songs like 'Codo (...düse Im Sauseschritt)' and 'Kopfschuss' showed their mix of driving rhythms and Noxx's vocal style. The lineup has included Sascha Lange on drums at points, though it's shifted over time.

Noxx's views on animal rights and other social issues have drawn attention separate from the music, sometimes polarizing listeners. The band kept performing in Europe, and their recordings have appeared on various compilations and soundtracks since.
