Matthew Koma

Matthew Koma was born in New York in 1987. He started writing songs for other artists before putting out his own work, with credits for people like Zedd and Kelly Clarkson. His first solo album came out in 2015, called 'Parachute,' and the single 'Kisses Back' got some attention.

He's worked on dance tracks with producers like Hardwell and Tiësto, including 'Dare You' and 'Wasted.' His second album, 'The Brilliant Idiots,' came out in 2019, followed by 'The Lost Years' in 2022. Those records dealt with more personal themes than his earlier pop and dance material.
