His song 'O Tempo Se Passou' came out in 1985 and became his most recognizable piece. It's a quiet, reflective tune that caught on widely. He also wrote other songs like 'Na Face Um Sorriso' and 'Eu Preciso de Deus Na Minha Vida' that kept to his style of straightforward, melodic Brazilian music.
