He followed that with albums like 'Romance' in 1993 and 'Meu Romance' in 1996. 'Hoje Eu Vou Beber de Novo' and 'Sabonete de Motel' are among his other popular tracks. His music found listeners in Brazil and elsewhere in Latin America.
In 2004, he faced some legal issues related to copyright claims. He continued recording afterward, putting out albums like 'Voz e Violão' in 2008 and 'Pra Sempre' in 2016.
