Mc Dadinho

Mc Dadinho came out of Rio de Janeiro's Complexo do Alemão favela, where he started performing in local dance battles. His track 'Passinho do Romano' from 2010 became a national hit, capturing the energy of the dance style it was named for.

He's released other songs like 'Adoro Essa Vida' and 'Baile do Japão', and put out albums including 'Sintonia das Quebradas' in 2011. Dadinho works as a solo artist, often performing with different dancers and DJs rather than a fixed band.

Some of his lyrics drew criticism for being explicit, but he kept making music from his neighborhood. The track 'Dúvidas' shows another side of his work.
