MC Davi

MC Davi came up in Itaquera, a working-class neighborhood in São Paulo. He started writing rhymes early, drawing from the samba and hip-hop around him and artists like Racionais MC's and MC Guimê. His 2018 debut album was called 'O Mundo Dá Voltas.'

His breakout track was 'Set Dos Casados,' which featured a crew of other MCs including MC Kevin, Hariel, Don Juan, Kapela, Marks, and Ryan SP. That song became a hit in the funk paulista scene. He's also worked on tracks like 'Tanajura' with MC Kevin and 'Ilusão (Cracolândia)' with MC Hariel, MC Ryan SP, Salvador da Rima, and Alok.

In 2019, there was some noise about him possibly lifting a melody for one of his hits, though that talk eventually quieted down. He kept putting out music, collaborating with various artists across the funk and pop spectrum.
