A Guadalajara crew that turned 'Ritmo Mexicano' into a street anthem.
For their signature blend, start with 'Ritmo Mexicano'. For their later energy, try 'Fumadão' or 'Bailão'.
They found their sound by mixing traditional Mexican brass and accordion with straightforward hip-hop beats. That approach gave them 'Ritmo Mexicano' in 2015, a track that became something of an anthem. You can hear that same rhythmic energy in later songs like 'Fumadão' and 'Bailão' from their catalog.
MC GW came together in Guadalajara around 2012 with MC Güero on vocals, Danny Franco on drums, Felipe Sánchez on guitar, and Beto Ayala on bass. They followed 'Ritmo Mexicano' with albums like 'El Sonido de la Calle' in 2017 and 'La Fiesta Continúa' in 2019.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
