Gabriel Menezes handles vocals and rapping as Mc Kazu, while Filipe Souza, known as Rasta do Anime, produces and DJs. Their music pulls from hip-hop, electronic, and Brazilian funk. They put out albums like 'Nerd Rap' in 2013, 'Otaku vs. Nerd' in 2015, and 'Hip-Hop Geek' in 2018.
They developed a dedicated following called Kazuzers. The group faced some skepticism early on for focusing on niche themes, but they kept at it, playing shows and putting out music that connected with fans who felt outside the mainstream.
