Mc Mazza came together in Rio de Janeiro around 2009, with members Alemão, Xande, and Menor do Chapa. Their track 'Chavão' became a breakout hit, capturing attention with its raw funk carioca energy.

Their music often drew from life in the favelas, mixing hard beats with direct lyrics. While they kept releasing material, including 'Chavão 2', their sound stayed rooted in that early, gritty approach rather than evolving dramatically.
