MC Nego Fe is Felipe de Souza dos Santos, born in 1986 and raised in Morro do Juramento, a neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro. He started making music in the Brazilian funk scene, and in 2012 his single 'Invejoso Pula Alto' became popular across the country.
His songs like 'Menor Poeta' and 'Vida de Ilusão' with Lux No Beat have kept him active in funk. He's worked with other artists including MC Lan, MC Yallah, and MC Kevinho, and has been part of the collective Bonde da Joga.
In 2014 he was arrested on kidnapping charges involving another MC, which he denied. His lyrics have drawn criticism at times for their content. He released albums including O Vencedor in 2013, O Último Romântico in 2015, and O Rei do Funk in 2018.
