MC Ronny RK came up in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, where he started making music early on. His 2019 track 'Periculoso' broke through with a viral push, though its explicit content drew some criticism at the time.

He followed that with songs like 'Morena' and 'Deboche,' and put out a debut album called 'Realidad.' The record had features from Maluma and J Balvin, showing he could work with bigger names in reggaeton.

In 2020, he was arrested on drug possession charges, which briefly stalled things. He's since talked about addiction in his music, including on tracks like 'Depressão' and 'Família Arsenal.'

His sound pulls from the salsa and plena he heard growing up, mixed with reggaeton rhythms. He works with producer Elias de León and sometimes collaborates with vocalist Brenda Cruz.
