Mc Sabãozinho

Mc Sabãozinho is a Brazilian artist from Rio de Janeiro whose real name is Jonatan Gomes da Silva. He came up in the Rocinha favela, where he started performing at local parties. His music draws from Jamaican dancehall rhythms, which he adapted into his own style.

In 2015, he released "Escorregou, Abaixa e Pega," a track that caught on quickly through social media. The song's straightforward melody and direct lyrics made it popular, though some found its content provocative. It became one of his most recognizable songs, along with another track simply called "sabãozinho."

He has worked with other Brazilian artists like Pretinho da Serrinha, Ludmilla, and Biel. His songs often touch on everyday themes, delivered over dancehall beats that keep things moving.
