MC Solero formed in 1997 in Salvador, Brazil, with four members: Edson Souza (MC Solero), Alexandre Rafael (MC Pipo), Dimas Gomes (MC Dinho), and Fábio Silva (DJ Marcel). They worked with funk, rap, and Brazilian rhythms.
In 2000, they released "Cabeça do Dinossauro," a single that became widely popular in Brazil. The song's humorous lyrics and catchy chorus connected with many listeners. Other songs include "Ela Tá Querendo Tbt" and "Não Importa Aonde."
They released several albums, including one titled "Só Pra Qu."
