MC Talibã

MC Talibã is a Brazilian funk carioca group that formed in 2012. The group's core members included MC Talibã (Thiago dos Santos) and MC Rennan (Rennan da Silva), with DJ Paulinho joining later as their official DJ. They came from the favelas of Rio de Janeiro, and their music often reflected the realities of that environment.

Their 2017 single "Tá Com Saudade Quer TBT?" featuring MC Rennan became a viral hit that brought them wider attention. Other tracks like "Um Sabadão Desse, Uma Lua Dessa" and "Eventozinho Clandestino" show their place in the contemporary funk scene. Their lyrics sometimes addressed social issues familiar to their community, though they also drew criticism for explicit content.
