MC Teteu is the Brazilian artist behind the Christmas funk track "Sou o Seu Papai Noel," which became a seasonal staple in Brazil after its release in 2003. The song blends funk carioca rhythms with holiday themes, creating something that caught on beyond the usual funk audience.

He came up through Rio de Janeiro's funk scene in the early 2000s, rapping on the streets before recording. While "Sou o Seu Papai Noel" is his most recognizable work, he's put out other tracks like "Bunda Pra Lá Bunda Pra Cá" and "Black Lança (Catucando Gostosinho)," which stick closer to standard funk carioca territory.
