MDN formed in Salvador, Brazil in 2002, with Marcio Victor on lead vocals, Denilson D'Alvaro on guitar, and Nathan Marques on percussion. Their debut album that year, 'Até Quando Eu Compor,' gave them their first hit with the title track.
They put out several more albums through the 2000s, including a self-titled one in 2004 and a live recording from Salvador in 2006. Their sound mixed pagode and samba with some R&B touches.
In 2015, they dealt with plagiarism accusations over their song 'Só Quero Você,' which they denied. They kept recording into the next decade, with the album 'Nós Somos' coming out in 2010.
