We searched long enough for the right words

Because you can only hold your breath for so long

Until it's gone

I see a shadow far away in the distance

I see a target where we are aiming

And when I consider all that we have learned

All these experiences

I know the roots will go down to the bottom

If we walk in a sense of wonder

Or if we are in a time of reason

We can recall these days
