Archive material and source history
Meio Dia Pras Quatro was a Brazilian band formed by Fernando Anitelli on vocals and guitar, his brother Felipe Anitelli on bass, Fabio Serra on drums, and Marcelo Manhães on guitar and vocals. They released their first album, 'Feliz Iludido,' in 2002, which gave them their most recognizable song of the same name.
Their music drew from MPB, pop rock, and folk, often built around acoustic guitar lines and lyrics that leaned into love and longing. They put out three more albums over the next dozen years: 'Amigos Imaginários' in 2005, 'Retrato Falado' in 2009, and 'Na Medida do Possível' in 2014.
In 2005, the band found itself in a legal dispute over the rights to 'Feliz Iludido,' stemming from allegations that the song's melody had been plagiarized. The case was resolved in their favor.
